Seriously...I blocked this in-progress sweater with a cheapo mannequin and a garment steamer, and the difference is huge. It's increased in length by around 3" and the sleeve heads have dropped by a pretty significant margin.
Now, I knew it would - a textured knit in an alpaca blend? - but having this info will mean the difference between knitting a cool, oversized sweater, and looking like I'm being consumed by a lovecraftian yarn horror from beyond. My fit issues with garments have largely dissapeared since I started pinning and steaming after finishing the armhole!
